Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  I need to mark my aisle ways.  Do you install line striping?

A:  Yes we do.  We can place line stripes, in any size, in your facility.  Yellow, 4" wide stripes are most common.

Q:  I have an old building, is there anything you can do with my old floors?

A:  Absolutely.  Floors do not have to be new to receive a Rite-Way system.  Many of our installations are placed on old floors.

Q:  I'm worried that a new coating will be too slippery.  What can I do?

A:  We recommend a broadcast of silica sand, glass beads, or aluminum oxide in your floor.  While we can't prevent slips and fall, the texture established will enhance the slip-resistant properties of your new floor.

Q:  Do you charge for estimates?

A:  No charge!  All of our estimates and proposals are free.

Q:  Our plant is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  We have a very limited schedule for placement of concrete coatings.  Can you help us?

A:  Yes we can.  We have several products that dry in minutes.  Give us a call and a Rite-Way sales representative analyze your unique needs.

Q:  What about colors; are many available?

A:  There are 16 standard colors available.  If you would like a custom color, we can have it made for a small charge.

Q:  How long will my new floor last?

A:  The floor's life will be dependent upon the amount of traffic it sees and the amount of maintenance it receives.  Typically, the high traffic area of a floor is in need of a re-coat after 5-7 years.  We have found that 20% of the floor receives 80% of the traffic.

Q:  We handle several chemicals.  Can you provide chemical resistant flooring?

A:  Certainly.  We have several products designed specifically for the abuse of aggressive chemicals.

Q:  Can you provide a floor with static dissipative properties?

A:  Rite-Way is a certified installer of EOS/ESD systems.  We can provide a system to meet federal standards for static dissipative and conductive properties.  Static dissipative systems are very popular.

Q:  I have a small job, but it's important.  What's your minimum floor size?

A:  No job is too small.  Rite-Way has completed projects in excess of 1 million square feet, and we install bathroom floors and residential garages.  We would like to work with you, regardless of your job size.

Q:  Can you install a cove radius base at the perimeter of my floor.

A:  We often install an integral cove radius base at all vertical surfaces.  Normally the base is 4" in height.

Q:  What is your work schedule?

A:  Our crews typically work Wednesday through Sunday.  We work nights and weekends to complete our projects on time and on budget.
